Darkness falls

Osora wakes up in a dais wondering were she is. It's so dark she can't tell but she does know she's tied up. Automatically Osora goes for her hidden knife working quickly she frees herself of the restraints. That done she starts feeling around the dark for a door or a light switch she finds the door but no switch. With some ingenuity she is able to pick the lock using a hair pin. She leaves the room only to find the next one just as dark after some searching she finds a light switch and turns it on, a light in the center of the room casts a dull glow she sees a table off to the side with her stuff on it. she makes he way to the table and retrieves her sword and among other weaponry.
Now armed she makes her way to the door leading out she expects to find it locked, but to her surprise it opens squeaking in protest. Behind it Osora finds a long tunnel that ends in darkness. She heads down it ready to draw her sword if needed Reaching the end she turns off to the right and continues down to where there are several doors. going to the first one she opens it closing it immediately and pushing a shelf in front of it not a second after something crashes into it on the other side, but the shelf holds firm and she runs to the next door. Opening it she finds an elegant looking room with a window she goes in but find's it doesn't open, the sound of wood braking can be heard down the hall there is a loud bang followed by a howl of triumph. The beast is at the door in seconds with no where else to go Osora turns and crashed through the window protecting her eyes from the glass as she falls. She hits the ground running not looking back still hearing the beast behind her she draws her sword and turns to face it. It is a hideous thing with a mixture of body parts of who knows what, it lunges at her, but she dodges easily rewarding it with a slash down its side. Now wounded the beast is enraged it jumps at her claws bared,but this time she doesn't dodge instead right when its about to knock her down she kicks upward hitting it just under the mouth and as it falls to the ground she runs her sword clean through its head its dead before it hits the ground. Wiping the blood off her blade she sheathes it and moves on getting away quickly before attention is drawn to her. Fortunately she is in a back ally that is all but abandoned. Turning a corner she finds a man there with his back turned she calls out to him", Mister where is this; he turn's around and stares at her. There is blood running down his face from a gash on his forehead, but he doesn't seem to notice He stands there just staring so she moves on she gets to the main road. Its deserted aside from the cars that litter the street some are overturned wile others are in ruins any fires have long since burned out, she walks along the street surveying what looks like a war zone, What she doesn't know is that's exactly what it was but no more she heads off into the city not knowing what she will find, but determined to find something anything to explain what happened here

Osora consults her map, according to it she should be in the middle of New York, but all she sees is the skeletons of buildings, overgrown roads and scattered craters.
She had worked her way here in hopes of finding life, but no there is not a human in sight not a bird in the sky. She looks to the ocean and notices that one structure still stands The Statue of liberty it shows no signs of the chaos surrounding it. Having decided she makes her way to the shore and looks for anything that might float. luckily there is a boat there wile in ruff condition it some how stays afloat. cautiously She tests it to see if it will hold satisfied that it will hold her she grab's an ore and starts paddling out to the Island.
Some time later she reaches the Island and what she finds doesn't make since, the Island is in perfect condition as if it was deserted yesterday the only sign of aging being the Statue of Liberty. Osora heads out headless of the potential danger reaching a fork in the road it suddenly gets dark around her, Looking up she discovers the source of the darkness and immediately hits the ground barley avoiding razor sharp talons as they pass through the space she had been occupying. Rolling to the side she turns to face the beast only to have to hit the ground again as a second bird swoops down, realizing she is outnumbered she tryes to retreat to a tunnel to gain the advantage, but is cut off by a third bird as it swoops down to attack her. What now? she thinks.

TL;DR

thats because its a story.....to be read by whoever ....I'm making it up as I go along so Its in parts ....that's why this is shadows corner didn't you read the description I put for it?

Whenever I've tried to write a story I never finish it. I've only ever manged to write maybe 10 pages before losing interest.

I guess its kinda boring in Z-Sama's opinion XD
